Avigna best known for its elegant take on trend driven indo-fusion wear is the brain child of Varsha and Rittu Agarwal
Varsha graduated from Peart Academy with an education in fashion styling, shortly after which she found herself interning under a design house. It was at this very phase when the passion to create Avigna first formed in her mind, watching and soaking in the process of how a design idea developed into a tangible garment struck her at the most fascinating process, so much so, that it felt like her true calling.
She founded her own label in 2017 along with her sister Rittu Agarwal. Rittu is a woman of many talents she has a degree in commerce and then went on to pursue her lib, despite her education being in varied fields, fashion war one that always caught her eye. It was her one constant aspiration which led to Avigna coming to life.
The label first sold its line at an online multi designer platform, but the design aesthetics and craftsmanship had many faithful consumers trickling in. The duo eventually decided to set up shop. The design quality and commitment spoke volumes for the label, placing it as the first choice for many in the short span of two years.
Avigna finds its name from a synonym of the Hindu god, Lord Ganesha. He is also known as the remover of obstacles. The faith in the lord and the label has help them overcome every obstacle and they hope to see Avigna launch itself pan-India very soon.
