Brijwasi Sweets can trace its humble beginnings to a bhojnalaya in 1946, where a small piece of mithai was offered to diners at the end of the meal. This Mithai received such loyal patronage that the bhojnalaya soon blossomed into a speciality Mithai Store. What started as a standalone store in Kalbadevi quickly spun into a network of 25 stores across the city. Through the 74 years that have passed, Brijwasi Sweets has established itself as Mumbai's premier Indian Sweets and Savouries confectioner and retailer. That small piece of mithai is now a household name and a favourite among the people of Mumbai.
